About The Tucson Botanical Gardens
Located on the site of the historic Porter property, Tucson Botanical Gardens (TBG) is a five and a half acre collection of 20 gardens in the heart of Tucson, Arizona.
A true urban oasis, Tucson Botanical Gardens has been selected #4 in USA Today’s 10Best Botanical Gardens Readers’ Choice Awards three years running. More than 20 curated gardens including the Cactus & Succulent Garden, Nuestro Jardín (Barrio Garden), Children’s Discovery Garden, Herb Garden, and many more, showcase a diversity of plants both native and those you wouldn’t expect to see in the Sonoran Desert. Tropical butterflies from around the world are featured in the Cox Butterfly & Orchid Pavilion from October through May every year. The Great Garden Express is a model garden railway set in a Sky Island inspired landscape. The Gardens offers rotating art displays, community classes, events, and international exhibits. Edna’s Eatery by Charly’s Grill offers refreshments, breakfast, and lunch. Event services are also provided for groups, weddings, and social gatherings.
Tucson Botanical Gardens is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Its mission is to connect people to plants and nature through art, science, history, and culture.
Tucson Botanical Gardens is located at 2150 N Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85712.
