Self-guided

Self-guided visits to the Gardens are scheduled year-round. Independently explore our 17 themed gardens during your trip. Discounted rates are available. Please read field trip guidelines carefully.

Group Visit

Adult group rate (18+):
$15 per person
Youth rate: $9 per person

Special Need Group Rates:
Adults: $10 per person
Youth: $9 per person
Special Needs chaperones are free

To be eligible for a group rate, your party must have at least 10 people who are not already Members of the Gardens. Members receive free admission to the Gardens except during special events. 


School Field Trip

Field Trip Rate: $5 per person

School field trips are for all grades and ages, Pre-K through High School including home school groups and head start groups.

Field trips are always self-guided.
Youth Field Journals and other resources available upon request


College Group Visit

College rate: $12 per person

College groups come from educational organizations like community colleges and universities.

College groups are always self-guided.

Reservation Disclaimers

Group Reservations

*By Submitting an online request form you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the group reservation disclaimers listed below.

*If the reservation process has not been followed, the Gardens will reserve the right to deny admission to the group. 

*Only Paid orders are finalized. If you don’t have a receipt, then your group order in not finalized. If your group shows up without a group receipt on the day of your visit you will be asked to purchase individual tickets at the regular admission rates at the time of arrival.

-To be eligible for a group rate, your party must have at least 10 people who are not already Members of the Gardens. Members receive free admission to the Gardens except during special events. In any order a minimum of 10 tickets must be purchased to receive a group rate.

– Due to the volume of requests all group order inquiries must fill out an online request form. Requests are processed in the order they are received.

-Initially requests are placed in our system as a pending reservation. You will receive a pending reservation email from a staff member with instructions on how to finalize your reservation. Read through the emailed instructions carefully. Your order number and payment link are included in this email. After you submit payment you will receive a group receipt to present to admissions on the day of your visit, and a finalized order email with day of visit information and instructions.

-Pending reservations may be held for 2 weeks. This holding period reserves your desired visit date/time for 2 weeks.


– Pending reservations that are not paid/finalized within the 2 week holding period will become available for others to reserve. At that time we can no longer guarantee the date/time you initially requested will be available.


– To be eligible for a group rate, the group must make one lump sum payment. Payment is required to finalize a reservation. Non-payment by the deadline indicated in your pending order email will result in cancellation of the pending order.


– Group Reservations are nonrefundable.


– Latecomers, and/or additional attendees joining your group on the day of your visit will purchase individual tickets at the general admissions rate and not the discounted group rate. No refunds are offered if fewer people show than initially paid for in your group order. Please submit an accurate count in your request form. Your count may be adjusted up until you pay/finalize your order. After a group order has been paid/finalized it can’t be changed.

– For youth groups, we require 1 chaperone for every 5 youth (the ratio requirement is non-negotiable).


– All groups are self-guided.


– The cost for a guided tour is an extra $5.00 pp. (NOTE: Group tours require 30 days notice for scheduling, and are subject to availability).


– Group rates exclude all other discounts: such as, but not limited to; Chase Cards, 2 for 1 coupons, Tucson Passport or hotel rack cards.


– Group rates and tours are not available during the evening or special events.

School Field Trips

– PAYMENT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT-THIS INCLUDES SCHOOL GROUPS UTILIZING PURCHASE ORDERS (PO’s). For those paying with a PO – the PO will reserve your date/time, however payment must be received by the deadline indicated in your pending order email. In general the absolute latest you can finalize a group order is the day prior to your visit by 9am. If your visit falls on a Monday, payment is due the Friday prior to your Monday visit by 9am.
