Frida’s Garden

Opening October 11, 2025

A new outdoor exhibit, Frida’s Garden, is inspired by the iconic painter Frida Kahlo’s garden in Mexico City, La Casa Azul. The garden is created within the famous “Frida-Blue” walls. It features a scaled-down version of the Aztec-inspired pyramid and Toad Pond. Plantings in the new garden will honor the original, but with a Southwestern twist.

With thanks to Museo Frida Kahlo
