Join Sky Island Alliance and the Tucson Botanical Gardens for a 2-part class on how to use motion-activated cameras to observe animals in your backyard and contribute to regional wildlife conservation efforts! In part one, participants will learn about conservation efforts by Sky Island Alliance and learn how to operate backyard wildlife cameras. In part two, students will learn how to identify animals observed on camera and contribute camera data to conservation efforts. Students can bring their own camera, or limited loaner cameras will be available to borrow for the duration of the class. Optionally, students can purchase a wildlife camera kit with everything needed to get started for $100. Refund & Cancellation Policy
No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund. People with disabilities should make requests for accommodation as early as possible to allow time to make appropriate arrangements.
