Tributes & Memorials
The Gardens is a beloved place, filled with beauty and lasting memories. A commemorative gift to the Tucson Botanical Gardens is a meaningful way to create an enduring tribute in honor, celebration, or memory of your loved ones.
Tribute Gift
$25 and above
All tribute and memorial gifts of $25 and above are recognized in the Tucson Botanical Gardens newsletter and support the Gardens’ Annual Fund.
Living Tribute
$500 and above
Honor the special people in your life for a full year with a dedicated bed of beautiful plants, or a potted arrangement of living flowers. Your donation will be recognized with a special marker celebrating you and your honoree for 12 months.
Garden Pathway Brick
$1,000 and above
Commemorative pathway bricks engraved with short inscriptions or names lead visitors to discover new plants, butterflies, and colors of the season.
(TBG reserves the right to relocate the commemorative walkway, in an equally prominent area. Should the tribute or memorial brick be relocated, all donors will be notified of the new location.)

Mosaic Tile Tribute Wall
$2,500 – $10,000
Permanent custom-designed wall tile with the name of your honoree. Add your name or honor a loved one with a custom-made tile on our Mosaic Wall in the Historic Porter Patio Garden.
Benches
$10,000 – $15,000
Tucson Botanical Gardens offers recognition on stone benches. Bronze Plaques will be placed on benches with a gift of $10,000 and a custom mosaic tile design for gifts of $15,000
Commemorate what’s important to you with a short inscription on a bronze plaque or a custom decorative tile bench. The number of available benches is limited. Please contact our Development team at development2@tucsonbotanical.org or by phone (520) 326-9686 ext. *25 to check the availability of a commemorative bench.
Planned giving donors
Penstemon Society
The Penstemon Society is made up of those individuals who have established estate plans for a future gift to the Gardens. These types of gifts include bequests, beneficiary designations in life insurance and retirement plans, charitable gift annuities, or other life-income arrangements.
Become a member of the Penstemon Society and provide shade for the future! All that’s needed to join is notification that you have decided to arrange a bequest or planned gift to the Gardens. Please let us know of your plans so that we may thank you.

There are a number of ways to invest in the Gardens’ future
- Through a bequest in your will or trust.
- Designate the Gardens as a beneficiary of an IRA or 401(k) plan.
- Designate the Gardens as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- A gift of real estate or other real assets.
- Through the arrangement of a charitable trust.

Donor Policies
Donor Privacy Policy
Tucson Botanical Gardens respects the privacy of its members and donors. Therefore, the Gardens will not rent or sell personal information about its members and donors. The Gardens will occasionally allow the controlled one-time use of its mailing list by other non-profit organizations with missions compatible to that of the Gardens, in exchange for equivalent use of a similar list of the other organization. List exchanges will be made for the express use of acquiring new members only. The Gardens will exclude the name of any member from exchanged lists upon request by the member. Tribute Gift Policy
Entrance to the Tucson Botanical Gardens to view tribute bricks, benches, tiles or plant stakes requires a current membership or paid admission. Rare exceptions must be pre-arranged by the tribute donor by contacting the Development Department to request a maximum of two guest passes.
