Self-guided

Self-guided visits to the Gardens are scheduled year-round. Independently explore our 17 themed gardens during your trip. Discounted rates are available. Please read field trip guidelines carefully.

Group Visit

Adult group rate (18+):
$15 per person

Youth rate: $9 per person

Special Needs Group Rates:
Adults: $10 per person
Youth: $9 per person
Special Needs chaperones are free

Group Rates are for groups of 10 or more people who are not already Members of the Gardens. Members receive free admission to the Gardens except during special events. 


School Field Trip

Field Trip Rate: $5 per person

School field trips are for groups of 10-75 people, all grades and ages, Pre-K through High School including home school groups and head start groups.

Field trips are always self-guided.
Young Naturalist Field Journals and other resources available upon request


College Group Visit

College rate: $12 per person

College groups come from educational organizations like community colleges and universities.

College groups are always self-guided.

Reservation Disclaimers

Group Reservations

By submitting an online request form, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the group reservation disclaimers listed below.

If the reservation process has not been followed, the Gardens will reserve the right to deny admission to the group. 

Only paid orders are finalized. If you don’t have a receipt, your group order has not been finalized. If your group arrives without a receipt on the day of your visit, you will be asked to purchase individual tickets at the regular admission rates upon arrival.

  • Group Rates are for groups of 10 or more people who are not already Members of the Gardens
  • Due to the volume of requests, inquiries are required to fill out an online request form. Requests are processed in the order they are received
  • After your request has been submitted, you will receive a pending reservation email from a staff member with instructions on how to finalize your reservation. Please read through the instructions carefully, as your order number and payment link are included in this email
  • Pending reservations may be held for 2 weeks
  • Pending reservations that are not paid/finalized within the 2-week holding period will become available for others to reserve, and we can no longer guarantee the date/time you initially requested will be available
  • After you submit payment, your reservation is finalized, and your date and time are reserved. You will receive a receipt and a finalized order email with important information and instructions for your visit
  • Please present your receipt upon arrival at the Gardens
  • Non-payment by the deadline indicated in your pending order email will result in cancellation of the pending order
  • Your group count can be adjusted up until you pay/finalize your order. After a group order has been paid/finalized, it can’t be changed
  • Group Reservations are nonrefundable
  • Latecomers and/or additional attendees joining your group on the day of your visit are not included in your group rate and will need to purchase general admissions tickets. No refunds are offered if fewer people show than initially paid for in your group order. Please submit an accurate count in your request form
  • For youth groups, we require 1 chaperone for every 5 youth (the ratio requirement is non-negotiable)
  • All groups are self-guided.
  • The cost for a guided tour is an extra $5.00 pp
    • NOTE: Group tours require 30 days’ notice for scheduling, and are subject to availability
  • Group rates exclude all other discounts, such as, but not limited to: Chase Cards, 2 for 1 coupons, Tucson Passport, or hotel rack cards
  • Group rates and tours are not available during special events

  • Pending reservations that do not submit a Purchase Order (PO) or make payment within the 3-week holding period will become available for others to reserve, and we can no longer guarantee the date/time you initially requested will be available
  • Payment is required a minimum of 1 business day before your visit to finalize your reservation
    • PO’s will reserve your date and time; your payment is due by the deadline indicated in your reservation email
    • Example: If your visit falls on a Monday, payment is due the Friday prior to your Monday visit by 9am
  • To be eligible for a group rate, the group must make one lump sum payment
  • Payment is required to finalize a reservation. Non-payment by the deadline indicated in your pending order email will result in cancellation of the pending order

    • Groups larger than 75, please request multiple days
