$60 Non-Member / $48 Member
Part 1: Saturday, April 11
Part 2: Saturday, May 2
Join Sky Island Alliance and the Tucson Botanical Gardens for a 2-part class on how to use motion-activated cameras to observe animals in your backyard and contribute to regional wildlife conservation efforts! In part one, participants will learn about conservation efforts by Sky Island Alliance and learn how to operate backyard wildlife cameras. In part two, students will learn how to identify animals observed on camera and contribute camera data to conservation efforts. Students can bring their own camera, or limited loaner cameras will be available to borrow for the duration of the class. Optionally, students can purchase a wildlife camera kit with everything needed to get started for $100.
If interested in purchasing or borrowing a camera, please email eamon@skyislandalliance.org by April 1st, 2026.
Hosted by Eamon Harrity, Wildlife Program Manager for Sky Island Alliance
