Session 4 (1pm-4pm) Rodeo Break Youth Workshop: Acting and Mask Making with a Botanical Twist

In Person Education Building Classroom These classes take place In-Person in the Education Building Classroom

$80 Non-Member / $64 Member

Materials and snacks provided

Kids aged 10-18 get to learn from local theater professionals AND exercise their love of nature with this workshop facilitated by The Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre staff. Participants will get to use natural materials collected from the Gardens to make their very own theatrical masks!  In addition to making botanical masks, participants will engage in exercises and games used by professional actors to hone their stagecraft. Plus, they’ll get to show off their creations with a parade around the Garden grounds at the end of the session.

Tickets include the child’s admission to the Gardens, a mask, materials & snacks.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund. People with disabilities should make requests for accommodation as early as possible to allow time to make appropriate arrangements.
