Trees are awesome! They’re also complex, long-lived, and not always forgiving to care for. It can be hard to tell good advice from bad. This 90-minute class will teach you key tree caregiving, what to cut and how to cut it, water requirements, when it’s time to call in an expert, and more. Our trees really help us out, so let’s take care of them together!

Nazareth Taraz

Hi! My name is Nazareth Taraz, I’m a certified arborist, and I’ve been working with trees in Tucson for the last five years. Our urban canopy is one of the most important parts of our city. It keeps us cool, keeps us shaded, cleans our air, and keeps us from looking like Phoenix. I think one of the best ways we can protect our trees is for everyone to know what they can do for the trees in their life. I love answering tree questions, it gives me an excuse to talk about my favorite thing in the whole world, so come ask!
