Drawing Meditation in the Gardens

Art Supplies Included in Price
Drawing hones our skills of observation and shifts how we see the physical world around us. It also changes the world inside of us by asking for complete attention to the moment. A series of fun drawing exercises in the garden will hone our observation skills and awaken our senses. We’ll incorporate some gentle movement and breathing exercises to help us stay relaxed, comfortable, and loose in our art practice.
Art supplies will be provided by TBG. Supplies: 2B drawing pencils, magic white eraser or kneaded eraser, drawing paper, pencil sharpener, clipboards so we can draw in the gardens

Saraiya Kanning
Saraiya Kanning is a Tucson artist with a passion for animal subjects. She works across multiple mediums, including ink, watercolor, and silk painting. Saraiya’s art is often characterized by bold, vibrant colors and stylized mark-making. When teaching, she seeks to make art enjoyable and accessible to all.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund. People with disabilities should make requests for accommodation as early as possible to allow time to make appropriate arrangements.
