Mixed Media Sculptures
“All At Once” Features a retrospective of selected mixed media/assembled sculptures from past collections and current works. The exhibit brings together work from the early 90s to the present, including previously unseen and recent projects using salvaged and recycled materials such as found woods, various metals, paper, and fabrics. The artwork pays homage and offers new life to objects often misused, forgotten, and discarded. The art presents a vestige of thoughts and memories that are often both inaccessible and recognizable.
Kyle Johnston is a self-taught, mixed media artist who works in abstract painting, collage and mixed media assemblage and has lived and worked in Tucson, Arizona for more than thirty years.
