Join us in celebrating the 31st annual Luminaria Nights at Tucson Botanical Gardens! 2,000 candlelit luminarias and a festive holiday light display will transform the Gardens into a winter wonderland with fun for the whole family.
One of our most popular events of the year is a Tucson tradition for friends and family. In addition, you can see our newest exhibit Origami in the Garden2 and see the botanical illustrations of Manabu Saito in the Porter Hall Gallery.
There will be different performances every night featuring local musicians, dancers and school groups. Food and drinks in flavors that reflect the season will be available from our very own Cafe Botanica and a round-up of some of Tucson’s favorite Food Trucks!
We have partnered with the Southwest Folklife Alliance to bring a display of Korean Jinju lanterns for this year’s Luminaria Nights! The large paper and silk lanterns will be on display during each of the evenings and range in size from a few feet to well over 8 feet tall. The lanterns compliment our theme of historical and cultural paper art throughout the gardens, including our main exhibit Origami in the Garden2.
