From javelinas to jackrabbits, learn about desert wildlife while exploring foundational drawing skills in this class presented by The Drawing Studio. Saraiya Kanning is a visual artist and creative writer with a passion for plants, animals, and ecology. She works in a variety of mediums, including ink, watercolor, and silk painting. Some of her favorite projects include watercolor journaling in Rocky Mountain National Park and Canyon de Chelly, illustrating Sonoran Desert flora and fauna through silk painting, and silk painting mountain landscapes on scarves.
