Taught by Cristina Baltayian, this workshop will explore different techniques in the use of watercolor pencils in botanical art. Cristina is an artist specializing in contemporary botanical art using colored pencil and watercolors. Cristina holds a certificate in Botanical Illustration from Cornell University and teaches Botanical Art at the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. Cristina Baltayian is an artist specializing in contemporary botanical art using colored pencil and watercolors. Cristina teaches Botanical Art at the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. She has also taught at the Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills, performed demonstrations at the Getty Center, and taught workshops at various venues. She teaches private classes at her studio in California. Cristina’s work has been shown at various shows and venues around the country.
