RAIN WATER HARVESTING WORKSHOP
4th Saturday, monthly
8:30AM - 10:30AM (May-September)
10:30AM-12:30PM (October-April)

This workshop is designed to show a rain water harvesting from start to finish. Many water harvesting classes and tours are overwhelming. This class brings water harvesting down to a residential scale. You will learn that this is something you can do with ease in your own yard. Participants will practice assessing a landscape’s water flow and basic water harvesting strategies as we choose a site for a project. The workshop will discuss land contours, mulch and plant selection while working on the project. Come prepared to do some digging and gain experience to do your own rain water harvesting. We recommend that you bring gloves, a hat and sunscreen. No pre-registration required. $14 (includes admission), $7 members
