ADWR and the Tucson Botanical Gardens are once again partnering on the Annual Xeriscape Contest for 2009. We are working together to promote the use of native and low-water-use plants, water conservation and to continue our commitment to resolving long-term water supply issues in the Tucson basin. The Xeriscape Contest serves as an educational tool to increase awareness of the beauty and ease of Xeriscape in the community. The contest showcases public and private landscapes and honors people who design and implement these beautiful landscapes that demonstrate water efficiency, reduced costs and good maintenance practices.
